Reza Bassiri is a Paris-based illustrator and designer. Alongside his role as Chief Creative Director at Carré Noir, he maintains an independent illustration practice focused on conceptual image-making.
A graduate of the ArtCenter College of Design, Bassiri works at the intersection of illustration, graphic design and visual storytelling. His images combine graphic precision with fluid, sculptural forms, often built around visual metaphors that reveal a second reading.
Drawing on his background in branding and art direction, his work frequently integrates typography, symbols and carefully constructed compositions to explore themes of culture, media and contemporary society.
His work includes visual collaborations connected to the campaign for the Lupin on Netflix as well as projects with Toyota, Reddit, Vandutch, Fit & Fab, COSRX and Scorpio Music.
